Restaurant manager performance evaluation form was designed to document the manager’s strengths and areas of opportunity. An action plan will be developed to help guide the employee towards meeting the goals outlined in the action plan.
The restaurant manager performance evaluation form is a fantastic tool to grade the performance of any restaurant manager or supervisor. A detailed evaluation of that particular manager or supervisor will give you valuable insight about his/her daily work habits. The person performing the evaluation must be unbiased, fair and consistent with each person.
If management exceeds the expectation and scores high on their evaluation, then it could be used to promote the manager and/or raise their salary. If a manager is performing below standards, this form also acts as a paper trail.
The person performing the evaluation will develop an action plan that will be used as a tool to pinpoint areas of opportunity and areas to improve on. When developing an action plan make sure the goals are achievable. Furthermore, set a reasonable time frame for the employee to fulfill the goals outlined in the action plan.
Communicate to the employee that the goals outlined in the action plan must be applied to his/her daily routine. If the employee does not make any improvements with-in the specified time frame, then it is time to document the employee: employee write-up form. The employee write up form is to be used to document employees’ behavior. Set reasonable goals and time frames for the employee to correct the issue.
It is possible the manager was not coached properly and in that example that individual needs to be retrained.
This is a great way to see the employee’s perspective. Give the 360 evaluation form to employees to fill out. In addition, distribute the form to employees that will give you honest feedback.
You may have cunning employees or disgruntled employees that are not mature, or they may possess bad attitudes. These types of employees may give a particular manager a bad review. Be selective in who you give a 360 evaluation form to.
