The restaurant scheduler is an excellent tool. The system has five weeks of schedules, so you can schedule for the entire month. The restaurant scheduler will automatically add up the scheduled regular and overtime hours per employee.
The restaurant scheduler also will alert you when you scheduled an employee past the overtime hours. In the US for most states this is 40 hours, where you will have to pay the person 1.5 times their salary for every hour past 40 hours.
Enter all of the employee information on the Employee Information sheet (Emp Info tab). This is a great way to keep a record on the information. If you complete the additional fields you’ll have easy access to your employees personal and payroll information.
As you enter the information on the Employee Information sheet the employees name and position will automatically populate to all of the five weekly schedulers. As you enter the remaining information on the Employee Information sheet, the contact information will automatically populate to the employee phone list. Once the contact information is completed, you’ll be able to Print out the Phone List.
The employee phone list contains the following information:
- Employee Name
- Home phone number / cell phone number
- Home address
- US Wage laws for all of the 50 states
- Employee Application
- Telephone Reference Check Form
- Employee Hiring Checklist
- Employee Orientation Checklist
