Restaurant Server Stocking PAR Sheet
Use the Restaurant Server Stocking PAR sheet to prepare your service aisle for each shift. This is a 2-page document. First off, it’s a great way to keep your service aisle stocked.
What is a PAR Sheet?
The par level of inventory is the amount of inventory needed to meet customer demand and provide a cushion in case of an unexpected spike in demand or a delay in delivery.
Servers can use this PAR Sheet to control levels of food and drinks. Of course, running low or out of food and drinks can damage customer service. Many restaurant customers visit restaurants mainly because that’s their favorite restaurant to visit or they come to your restaurant for a specific menu item. Either way, you don’t want to tell the guest that you ran out of that item.
When creating your PAR amounts always take into account for the following:
- Promotions
- Special events
- Large parties or reservations
- Electric outages in your area will produce more customers because they still have to eat
Review past PAR Sheets look to determine the PAR amounts each shift. If you know you will be busy because of a holiday, then add more to the PAR amount. If you expect it to be a slow day, perhaps because of weather conditions, then lower the PAR amount.
Servers can use this sheet for:
- The Salad unit (produce and dressings)
- Condiments
- Drinks
- Ice Cream
- Soups
